In 1992, at Seini Maramures district from Romania a rock alternative band called Eclipse
is formed. its first members being: Mihai Tivadar (keyboard, ex. Neverland),
Marcel Ardelean (guitar), Pal Novelli (bess), Mircea Potovan (drums).
* Activity:
- at the beginning of their activity the members of Eclipse are in search for a vocalist
but unsuccessfully, and thus Marcel and Mircea are also vocalists for the first compositions
1993
- ECLIPSE becomes Dirty Shirt and performs in Satu-Mare (Romania) at Sam Rock,
gives several local performances
- Mircea Patovan leaves the band.
1994
- Denis Lenghel comes in Mircea's places and Radu Tamas becomes the vocalist of
Dirty Shirt for a few month
1995
- DIRTY SHIRT organizes together with Legion, another local band the
first edition of the Rock Fest. Seini.

they revisit their songs (with several progressive passages) which are translated into
English.
1996
- in January they record the demo tape Alone containing six songs in English which are
broadcast on different Radio broadcast from Baia Mare, Satu Mare, Cluj-Napoca,
Zalau, Timisoara, Constanta as well as on R3 (Romanian Youth Radio Broadcast).
- Jun 12, they take part in the pre-selection of The Top T Fest. Buzau, the 12 th edition
and get the gualification with 60 points, the 11 th place.
- July 19 they perform at Rock Fest. Seini, the 2 nd edition
- Dirty Shirt takes part in Young Rock for Youngs Fest. from Piatra Neamt at
rhythm'n'blues / progressive section and gets the 2 nd prize as well as the prize for
the best keyboard player-Mihai Tivadar and for the best bass guitar player-Pal Novelli.
- August 2-8 the band takes part in Metal Fan Festival (Bucharest) and gets the
3 rd place and the prize for the best bass guitar player-Pal Novelli.
-performances at Phoenix Club in Baia mare, Hard'n'Heavy (Bucharest) and Music Pub (Cluj-N.)
- Dan "Rini" Craciun becomes the vocalist of the band (ex. Classica, Halley, collaborator
with Psycho Symphony and Ipse), because of the special timbre of the new vocalist
the songs of Dirty Shirt are re-orchestrated.
1997 _______________________________
- Marcel Ardelean leaves the band and Dan Prikop comes in his stead (ex.Neverland,Odyseea),
- Vlad "X" Toca becomes the drummer of the band (ex. Regis, Dric, Enders),
- Dirty Shirt performs at Rock Fest Seini the 3 rd edition,
- September 17-19 the band performs at Posada Rock Festival C-lung Muscel and gets
the 2 nd place whereas Tivadar gets the prize for the best keyboard player.
- December 18-19 the band participates in Rock Constellation festival-competition,
the 13 th edition Ramnicu Valcea. Tivadar gets the prize for the best keyboard player
(as well as for performance beside Rhetorica a band-project whose components are also
other two members of Dirty Shirt-Pal Novelli and Dan Prikop together with two members
of Legion, Otto Ulman and Ciprian Tarta, the latter being at the moment in the United States.
1998
- May 21 the band performs at Posada Rock Galas, C-lung Muscel;
- July 10-12 participation in the pop-rock festival-competition from Sfantu Gheorghe;
- July 16-18 participation in Silva Top T Fest Buzau, the 14 th edition and they get
the Grand Prix (offered by the Glas Transilvan Studio and Promusic Prod., including
the production of the debut album) as well as the Heavy Metal Magazine prize and
that of the best keyboard player-Mihai Tivadar;
- July 25-26 participation in Rock Fest seini 98, the 4 th edition;
- August 28 participation in East-West Heaven Festival, the 1 st edition;
- they release the Demo-tape 98;
- participation in Rock Constellation Fest. Rm-Valcea.
1999
- July 2-3 Dirty Shirt performs at Samus Rock Alive Fest, the 5 th edition, Satu Mare,
hard & heavy section and gets the 1 st place and several individual prizes:
Mihai Tivadar (keyboars), Dan "Rini" Craciun (vocals), Vlad "X" Toca (drums);
- September 2-4 Dirty shirt performs at Top T Fest the 15 th edition, Buzau giving a recital;
- October 18 a recital during an evening of rock celebration at the Chestnuts Fest from
Baia Mare beside Halley, BMG, Antract, Directia 5 and Iris;
- December 25 another recital beside Raindust, Mery Gold, Rebbels
during Christmas Rock 99 at Satu Mare;
2000
- a performance together with Defect, Voices of Silence and Funeral Ceremony at
No Problem rock club from Cluj Napoca;
- the material "Very Dirty" is released at Promusic Prod. containing eight songs
power-progresive style;
- performances at Buzau, Satu Mare, Timisoara, Cluj, Baia Mare, etc.
