The band is formed in the winler of 1995, four yong men wishing to become stars and being
sick of the plen of rock bands that had a commercial style.
Their stylr: thrash / death.

The first demo called "Type Hathor" comes as a necessity for allowing their participation
in the pre-selections for national festivals.

The
1 st festival in which the band takes part: "JAZZ, ROCK & FOLK” Craiova .
During the fest from Rm Vilcea "Rock Constellation" the band records the 1 st live
"Live
in Rm. Vilcea” helped by Adrian Ordean
****************1997****************
The best performance of the year for Hathor that from the Summer Garden in Galati
together with God from Iasi (Romania). Following this succesful performance, there are
plenty of interviews in the local paper "Viata Libera" and on the Galati Radio Broadcast
as well as on TV Cony-Sat Broadcast.
The band takes part in the festivals from Craiova and Rm. Vilcea. The band's style changes a little
(the guitar player Marius Mihai being interested in death metal) and two members of
the band Adrian Zainescu-bass and Cristi Ochiu-drums leave the group, in their
places coming Adrian Mihai (the guitars player's brother) for the band's guitar and
Marius Mihai will be the bass guitar player white Ionut Nistor the drummer of the band.

New compositions signed by the Mihai brothers.
September 9, 1998 Posada Fest. in C-lung Muscel. In the autumm of 1998 the band's
activity ceased for a white. Marius Mihai the bass guitar player being in the servicies.
During this short break the band's drummer Ionut Nistor leaves the group for Pro Contra
continuing however to play for Hathor until the band finds someone who could replace him.
****************1999****************
Marius Mihai, the band's guitar player susseeds in getting a leave and thus the group
takes part in Top T Fest. from Buzau where Ilie Caraus-vocals gets a prize for the
best vocals. The band's drummer leaves Hathor for good and this brings a breakdown
in the group but only after a few months Constantin Dimitrenco, a very technical
drummer from Moldova a student in Galati, becomes the band's drummer.
In a new line-up Hathor records the demo-tape "Dead Concept" containing a part
from the 1996-1999's unrecorded songs. There come some internal trouble and
the band's vocalist Ilie Caraus leaves Hathor, his duties being taken by Marius Mihai
the bass guitar player of the band.

The beginning of the 2000's finds the group in a trio formula. It's high time for a
re-orientation to black metal and Cristi Stoleru joins the band (keyboards).
In a new line-up:Marius Mihai-bass/vocals, Adrian Mihai-guitars, Cristi Stoleru-keyboards,
Constantin
Dimitrenco-drums,
recording material officially signed Hathor which includes: „REALITY AUT OF CONTROL”,
„THE MYSTIC ART ”, „THE END OF DESORDER”, „DEAD CONCEPT II”, „DRUMUL SPRE
MANTUIRE”, „INTO THE VALLEY OF DEATH”.
March - a live recording "Reality out of control" during a performance from Club S in
Galati, organized by Student's Cultural House and Galati Radio Broadcast,
this video being a promotion of the future album.
April 2000 the band takes part in the release of the book written by
Gabi Gombos (an important personality for the rock movement in Romania
"Nightmere in the death's street" beside God from Iasi and Funebre the group being
invited after this performance for an interview on Galati Radio Broadcast.
May - Hathor is invited to play at Iasi beside the rock groups: God, Funebre
and Korruption. After this performance "Viata Libera" the local paper allows a
large place for the band in its pages.
September - the band gets the 2 nd prize at Top T Fest. Buzau.
October - Hathor is invited in Bucharest at Le Noir club to play beside
Indian Fall and Voices of Silence.
****************2001****************
January - performance in Bucharest at Le Noir club, together with the bands from Galati
Asalt (heavy-metal) and Y-grec (hardcore).
Afavourable article about the demo-tape "The Mistic Art" appears in Heavy Metal Magazine
March - a great performance at Students' Cultural House in Galati.
April 23, Hathor signs a contract for 2 materials with Promusic Prod. in Cluj
April-the band enters Primosound Rec. Studio in Galati to record its debut album.
May-recital during TopT fest Buzau.
